Welcome to NYGblog.com
AFP/Getty Images/FileI had intended on initially launching this site prior to the start of the 2007 season, but as with most things, life and work have seemed to conspire against this project and keep me way too damned busy.
About This Site
Essentially this site is where I can spout off about games, roster moves, news and just about anything else team related. If I’ve been a fan for so long why am i just starting this site now? It’s simple really. I’ve finally gotten to a point with my other sites that I feel that I can actually devote quality time to an idea that has been banging around in my skull for a while now.
About The Author
So how did a guy that’s lived a majority of his life living deep in Washington Redskins’ territory become a Giants fan?
My father brainwashed me at an early age. I’ve been watching Giants games and following the team for a majority of my 32 years. Like most any fan, I’ve stuck with the team through Super Bowl success and colossal failure. That’s just the life of a fan, I suppose.
A few of my favorite Giants memories include:
- Anything related to Phil Mckonky’s mullet
- Ottis Anderson’s windmill uppercut along the sideline
- Wide right — thanks Mr Norwood
- Carl Banks, Harry Carson and Lawrence Taylor
- The 41-0 drubbing of Minnesota in 2000 NFC Championship Game
NYGblog will have myself as the primary author, but you can expect other Giants fans to stop by every now and again to share their own opinions on what’s currently going on during the season. And, well, that’s pretty much it for now.
