Lawrence Taylor: A Man Among Boys
There are two reasons why I’m putting up this old NFL Films clip of LT. First, it includes one of my favorite in-game sound clips from Taylor of all time — “Son, you gotta do better than this,” after that sack is just beautiful. Second, what better way to commemorate the record breaking sack by Strahan than celebrating the man he passed.
There are some great hits in this brief history that certainly doesn’t do him the justice he deserves. And damn, man, how many one armed shirt tackles/sacks does this man have?
Now let’s see if the Giants defense can repeat last week’s performance this Sunday.
